We might take a vacation in Canada, probably one year or a couple of years from now because my fiancé has been wanting to see his relatives there. He also plans to stay there for good, which needs a major discussion because I feel like I do not need to leave my country and be in a foreign land. Eeek. Anyway, that is another story.

If ever this vacation plan pushes through, one of the things that I have been checking out is the hotel accommodation because staying at home with the relatives is kind of a hassle for both of us, and I believe, for them too.

While I was in a surfing mood on Google, I saw Montreal Hotels, which I think a perfect place for a romantic couple like us. *giggles* They have a very nice recreation and services like indoor pool, and they have an elegant restaurant — I love eating good food — and they offer overnight laundry and dry cleaning services — I do not want to destroy my vacation washing the clothes all day, since it is going to be my first time to leave this tropical country and have a grand vacation.

Do you get more inexpensive hotel rates booking directly through the hotel than going online and check through websites too look for cheap hotels?

Most of the time, the cheapest deal are when you book the flight and hotel accommodation together. I believe there is no place to get the cheapest rates but I would suggest you to shop around and check all the online sites including the hotel and your airline.

I prefer staying in a hotel because hotel has maid service, possibly will have a breakfast, and has on site restaurant for room service while staying in a condo has no maid and room service but has a kitchen, bedroom with TV and a separate living room with TV, and the majority of these condo communities have a pool. Even with no room service, you still can get food delivered in and it’s almost certainly better food.

It really depends on your taste. If you are with your children, I would go for condo to have a freedom. On the other hand, if you are just with your significant other, I would go for the hotel. It really depends on your dynamics.

All hotels should be like that in practice. The pillows and comforters should be cleaned specially when something visible is spilled on them. Sheets are changed nightly and blankets are changed at least three to five days or once a week.

If you are planning to spend your vacation to Las Vegas, I have some useful tips to share. Just keep in mind these questions: How many days you are staying, how much money you are planning to burn, who you are going with, and what do you most enjoy doing.

It is only cool to be there if you have lots of money in your pocket, but you really don’t have to have a ton of cash if you are not really into gamble. Stay in cheap hotel Las Vegas, eat at buffets, and rent a car instead of using a taxi cab.
