Eagle Eye and online shopping

Wednesday, October 1st, 2008

Saw Eagle Eye and I thought it was Transformers. lolz. I did enjoy the stunts, the BMW steering rack moments and the main characters’ sprinting and stuff but the story was unbelievable. lol.

My friends and I purchased (pre-order) the TWLOHA shirts in July and until now I haven’t received them yet, well except for the white T-shirt that says, “Love is the Movement”

1 Girl Title Black ($15, Medium) my friend’s
1 Girl Title White ($15, Medium) my friend’s
1 Girl Title Black ($15, Large) my friend’s
1 Girl Title Black ($15, Small) my order

It was a group order so we won’t be spending too much for the shipping fee because we are living in a third world country. The rest of the t-shirts were sent out on Aug 12 and the TWLOHA representative told me that multi-item orders generally take longer than single-item orders because of international customs.

It’s October now!!! Where are they? Pbbt.

Trusted Weather Toolbar

Sunday, September 28th, 2008

How’s the weather? Here is absolutely gorgeous. I am loving it because the sun did not really come out and it’s a little bit cold in here because it just rained.

Did you know that a cyclone, a hurricane and a typhoon are the same thing? Yes, it is true. The reason why the variation in terminology is because it depends on where the storm is occurring. I think it’s is where the wind is spinning in different directions.

Well, here in the Philippines, we call it a typhoon. We always experience these storms because my country is surrounded by water. These days and it’s because of the advanced technology, it’s no longer a problem for us to know if a certain place is going to hit by a big storm.

I have been using this Weather Toolbar where I get to know the current climate of a particular place for seven days a week — Around the world! It’s brilliant! In addition to that, it’s pretty easy to use. The best thing about this toolbar, it is powered by Google. All you need is to download the Weather Toolbar for free and it’s ready to use in seconds.

So if you are going out of the country, why not check your Weather Toolbar first and check if the weather is going to be just fine.

Bamboo Organ trip

Saturday, September 27th, 2008

Today, I went to St. Joseph church, Las Pinas, for the first time. Ok, second time because I was baptized there. I have been there but I just don’t remember. I know right. Then, I saw the super old Bamboo Organ. It looks creepy. lol. The said church is so old. I think they haven’t renovated it or something. Anyway, I went there to get my Baptismal certificate, oh hai 30 pesos. *giddy giddy*

Then, I felt the earthquake. I did not know that my sister sent me a couple of text messages already. The first message was like she’s freaking out because it was shaking. I really did not feel the first shake maybe because I was riding the jeepney and was dealing the Zapote Rd traffic and all. So I felt the second earthquake,  which was also felt by the people inside the office of St. Joseph parish church. The intensity was like 5 or 6? That must be really a strong earthquake but I did not feel or did not get dizzy or something. lol. I quickly checked out Honey if he is okay because he lives in a tall building lol. He said, he was about to use the elevator but decided to go back to his unit and checked his bar stools and checked out if it was really an earthquake. lol.

Please rain!

Torrenting

Friday, September 26th, 2008

While I am trying to search for appetizer recipes on the Interwebs, I downloaded some movies this week and the week before this week and it was so random:

Made of Honor (2008)
Prom Night (2008)
Snow Angels (2007)
Then She Found Me (2007)
What Happens in Vegas (2008)
Street Kings (2008) — I watched this today but had to stop it because Mom was going to watch the news but I want to finish it.
Superman Doomsday
Meet the Spartans
Jumper (2008)
You Don’t Mess with the Zohan
Edward Scissorhands — I cried.
Johnny English — I find it boring.
Austin Powers - Goldmember (2002) — I really can’t stand an Austin Powers film but had to try it.
Dragon Wars — LOLOLOL The language was in Spanish. Grr.

Bold means I already finished watching it.
Italicize means I did watch it but I swear I did not like it so I had to push the stop button. lol.
Most of these movies were suggested by my geeky Honey and IMBD’s Top United States DVD Rentals.

I want to download more movies, please comment.
