Door Light does follow

I do follow, folks!

Guys, I haven’t announced this yet but this blog is a Do-Follow (I think since December). In case you don’t know, WordPress made the attribute No-Follow by default. Do Follow means, when you comment here on my blog, it automatically becomes a back link. Nice, huh. One good strategy if you are into SEO or you want to increase your blog’s Google Pagerank.

I’ve been commenting only to those blogs who have do-follows, except you are my friend. hehehhe.

How will you know if a blog is a do follow or a no follow? Just right click the link, choose Properties and it will show. You may also download the toolbar if you are using Firefox.

I’m currently using this Do-Follow plugin. So, if you are interested to make everybody happy, activate that. hehehe. Take care!

What onewickedsoul says

thedoorlight.net
the last layout I made, which includes hard coding and that was in 2005.

I’m planning to get my own domain name again. After I shutdown my ever first one located at thedoorlight.net, which lasted for just a year, I did not have any desires to get a new one or continue paying for the name and space. I discontinued my domain because I felt like I was wasting money. I wish there was WordPress already that time, maybe my blogging time could had been easier. Also, I think I need a new name on the Intranets, like, Droolight? lol.

My friend Dre is running a contest at the moment: Free Domain Name & Blog Hosting. It’s tempting, you know. It’s tempting but probably I’m going to pass. Anyway, I’m just letting you know, in case, some bloggers are interested to join. I think the deadline is on the 31st but I’m unsure about that because she just changed the rules. Just check out the link.

The man behind WordPress

WordPress

I’m a big fan of WordPress and Matt Mullenweg, and I was too excited when my friend in Belgium — who still owes me a t-shirt lol — Sarah, announced at the TBE forum that she was going to interview Matt. I was like, “OMIGOD, really?”

Goodness

If you are a 24/7 bloghopper and you include me in your daily routine, you should have noticed that my blog was out of the circulation for a couple of days.

Read: I upgraded my WordPress into Dexter aka 2.3. Unfortunately, the new version — for the first time — gave me unknown errors so my dear and ever supportive host, Alex, had to change my database details and all.

I’m using a temporary template/theme until I figure out why my widgets don’t drag and drop, which they’re supposed to be doing. I might use the old theme that I’ve been using for almost a year now because that theme is so colorful as colorful as my life. Nyarrrr.

Anyway, my WordPress is funky now. My admin’s footer says, Version 2.3.1.

edit./ My skewed rainbow is back! Would you believe that I did my sidebar manually? Where are you widgets!?

My login page is colorful

Little treat from me because I love googling for plugins:

Are you itching to know how did I make a customized login page? Don’t you love Wordpress for these kinds of plugins? And I so hate Blogspot. Okay. You need the link so here it goes: bm-custom-login

Please let me know if you did install this awesomeness and I’ll take time to check it out too.

Love and marshmallows.
