Reset TXN password

You know, I am such an idiot person because I don’t know why I forgot my EON online account transaction password. Because you know, having a lot of passwords is my favorite thing and having a so complicated passwords is my favorite mantra.

Again, I am such an idiot person because I kept on wasting my time and suspending myself not to call their customer service. lol.

Because I always rely on Google first when I have some questions. lol.

I just hate the fact that I can’t reset my password by just clicking a link, like I forgot my password link. But okay, I know Unionbank just wants to secure their customers and I understand that.

But I am not that idiot because some weeks ago, I called up their hotline and some CSR — a guy answered my inquiry. He did not understand me. I was like, “I forgot my transaction password, what should I do?” And he was like, “your transaction password is your last 10 digits of your card blah blah.” Gahhh. Are you an idiot? Did you know that when you log in to your account for the first time, you should change your password pronto? Like you are required to modify the TXN password? Didn’t you know that? I wish I said that. lol.

So that call failed. I don’t know why I did not give more details about my problem with that CSR person. I was just lazy to explain, maybe.

A couple of days ago, I logged in to my EON online account again and thought of sending a message to their EON services — yes, users can send a message inside the account. Hoping someone will reply and would understand my problem.

My message was like:

Hello there,
I can’t create a new transaction password because I can’t remember the old one. Can you help me? I have 44 days left and I need to update my transaction password.

lol.

Today someone replied me:

Thank you for your e-mail.

For request for reset of transaction password, we advise that you call our 24 Hour Customer Service Hotline at (632) 841 8600 or our domestic toll-free 1800-1-888-2277 for provincial area. Our Customer Service Officers will be happy to assist you. We trust you appreciate that these measures are taken to ensure the security of our customers’ accounts.

Thank you.

So this message gave me an urge again to call up their hotline. And I think I used the correct keyword this time.

Word: RESET.

So I called up and waited for five minutes and CSR Alvin received my call. I gave my details and yeah he understooooood me. He advised me to wait for 24 hours for my TXN password to be reset.

    hi laarni.. Nakalimutan ko rin yung transaction password ko.. Di ko nga maalala na meron pa lang ganun..hehhhe. i will have to call unionbank bukas..

    I tried calling using the domestic toll free number, kasi am in mindanao eh, pero palaging, “your number cannot be completed as dialled.” hehehhe.. ng email na lang muna ako.Mahal kasi if i call sa landline to Manila.. heheheh..

    Honestly i forgot na merong txn password. But parang may naalala ako na sinulat ko but i forgot kung saan ko sinulat.hehheh.. thanks. .take care..

    i also have this problem with txn password…

    last week pa ako hindi ko mapasok ang aking account dahil everytime na maglog-in ako hinihingi na magpalit daw ng txn password pero hindi ko na matandaan ang txn password ko…

    i called them but nobody answered my call. i tried to email unionbank too but they asked for my card number and account number. I know email transactions are not safe so i decided not to pursue with it. up to now, i still can’t log in to my account..
