The Earth Hour 2008
This might sound funny but we participated in the Earth Hour. I am also thinking that our house might be the only one without lights between 8 and 9pm. lol. No lights, no TV, everything, except for the refrigerator and the aquarium’s oxygen. The only light source we had was a candle. It was fun. lol. My sister was playing the guitar and I was playing Snake.
If you are an ignoramous person, Earth Hour is an international event, which asks everybody to turn off their lights or any unimportant appliances for 60 minutes. The idea was thought of by WWF because of the biggest threat that our Earth is facing right now, which is the global warming or climate change. It’s a scary thought but it’s true, one degree warmer or colder could affect the next generation.
I even told mom that we should do this weekly. lol. An hour without power. ![]()

Gusto ko rin sana mag-participate kaso we were still on the road home from Villa Escudero. Sabi ni kuya everyone here in our street participated as well.

I didn’t know about it until after it happened. Earth Hour wasn’t really talked about, except on the news AFTER it happened when they showed clips of what took place in other countries.
