PayPal Contest Time
I’m joining a never-ending contest. I found a cool contest via c5says and I’m also sharing it with you, guys. The contest is called, The Weekly Winner Contest run by Collin. The site is actually about Make Money Blogging, Blog Marketing and Increase Website Traffic. So, if you are not that interested joining the contest, you might still be interested to check out the site. Very helpful for those bloggers who want to monetize their bloggages.
This is the summary of the rules:
By writing a one time post on your blog, you will have a chance to win $25 as well as additional prizes every single week of the year. You will have a permanent raffle ticket so to say. All winners will get a little bit of free promotion as well.
Yes. 25 USD and a free plug. And it doesn’t have a deadline. Verry cool, huh?! Collin gets to pick a winner every week. I love joining contests because I am, somehow, lucky. harhar. Hey, I won a 3210 Nokia Phone before and that was the first contest I entered. But this is actually the second time, as far as I remember, I joined a contest online. So, wish me good luck.
If you are bored and feeling lucky and you need some cash, you might want to join too. Collin is going to announce the first winner this Sunday, 27th, or if you are a forgetful person, subscribe to his rss feed or through e-mail.
And have I told you that I’m loving having a PayPal account? *dances*
What onewickedsoul says

the last layout I made, which includes hard coding and that was in 2005.
I’m planning to get my own domain name again. After I shutdown my ever first one located at thedoorlight.net, which lasted for just a year, I did not have any desires to get a new one or continue paying for the name and space. I discontinued my domain because I felt like I was wasting money. I wish there was WordPress already that time, maybe my blogging time could had been easier. Also, I think I need a new name on the Intranets, like, Droolight? lol.

My friend Dre is running a contest at the moment: Free Domain Name & Blog Hosting. It’s tempting, you know. It’s tempting but probably I’m going to pass. Anyway, I’m just letting you know, in case, some bloggers are interested to join. I think the deadline is on the 31st but I’m unsure about that because she just changed the rules. Just check out the link.
How to take a vacay in Germany?
What is it like to be in a foreign country like Germany? I think one of my cousins is starting taking German classes now because she wants to learn the Ich Liebe Dich language. hehehe.
My auntie, who is currently living in Germany, wants my sister and I, and the rest of my cousins to spend her money for us to take a grand vacation to Germany! I have the coolest auntie, I know, but I’m unsure if I can go with them if this pushes through, because my fiance is going to kidnap me in December. Oh nooooes.
I’m more excited because I just stalked the hotels and events in Germany:
For visitors (English speaking or German speaking) going to Germany or Austria, it’s best to use one of these two websites: (1) Cheaperthanhotels.co.uk and try these pages: Hotels in Germany (Germany) and Hotels in Berlin (Berlin); (2) HotelsDeutsche.com and try these pages: Hotels in Berlin (Berlin) and Hotels in Wien.
Accommodation: from cheap stays to luxury resorts
-Check on the range of last minute and all year discount hotels often with free inclusions and use of facilities.
Events: what’s on and what’s hot
-Berlin’s calendar is loaded with annual fairs, festivals, concerts and parties.*The Berlinale (Berlin International Film Festival), the world’s second largest, is held in February.*April sees Festage (Festival Days) a host of gala concerts and operas held over 10 days.*Christopher Street Day in June is Berlin’s big gay event.*August features JazzFest Berlin.*In November Christmas markets are held throughout the city.
And…

Berlin is love.
Thinking of the Future

What would be their future babies look like?
I am 26 and thinking of the future makes me feel anxious sometimes. Hey, am I thinking of getting a pension plan or life insurance policy here? Nyarr. My mother has one and she is about to get the pension after its maturity date and that would be after five years. Yeah, frigging five years! She is thinking of an option like a lump sum where she will be able to get all the money in a snap of a finger — okay, that doesn’t sound right but you get the idea — rather than getting it in installments. Uhmm, because my mom is impatient? Nahh.
I was surfing on the intrawebs and found this site: click here. The site offers structured settlements, which is the better and popular option, I believe, than the regular lump sum. You can read more info here and see the number of their satisfied clients.
So my mother is planning to get a lump sum but I bet she is going to spend it all, because my mother sometimes needs a regulation when it comes to money. heh. I think wasted and even loss of money is impossible when you use structured settlements. Well, that’s a relief.
Anyway, people, please visit the site. ![]()
Happy 40th, Gerry!

Kikoy and I with Gerry’s Mom’s colorful Poinsenttias
I spent my Sunday hanging out with the comic artists: comics, movies, american idol, and geekiness and full of geekiness and some Johnny Balbona’s healing factor. lol. And yesterday was Gerry’s birthday: food, food, food and ampalaya salad. His folks are cool. I call them: Cool mom and cool dad.
Nil’s fast driving made my heart skip a beat. Well, let’s just say for fast drivers, petting on loooong stretches is not really a bad thing. As long as, you are not drunk, and you’re flying down the highway and not on the small streets. lol. Probably, my mother would be very nervous if she was the passenger. But cool ride and cool car.
Again, happy birthday, Gerry. (I actually don’t know how to address him: Kuya Gerry? Sir Gerry? Mr. Gerry? or Elmer? hehehe)
.Edit./

Can’t stop using my new heart brushes. lol.
Doorlight goes Blogsvertise
I was talking to my dear friend Sasha about Blogsvertise.com and I was so proud to tell her that I’ve read all the rules and regulations of the site, including their Frequently Asked Questions. She was laughing at me. lol. Anyway, I just joined Blogsvertise — yeah, I joined the madness — and my application’s status is awaiting for approval. I’m excited.
You might want to try joining too.I think the site is great because I’ve seen lots of bloggers who have been enjoying blogging and at the same time earning money from Blogsvertise. You just need a decent blog and your mighty PayPal account.
Does anyone else realize just how popular Blogsvertise is? You don’t know? OMG. Really? It’s popular because I joined and you are joining too, right? hehe. Seriously, you can measure success by the number of their bloggers and advertisers. Go and check the site out now.
Verified User
I spent my time reading too much of EON Card horror stories and realized that I was just scaring myself. Boo.
Anyway, I’m excited to let my visitors know that I’m officially a verified Pay Pal user since yesterday. Thank you, EON Card. I was too excited that I asked my friend Sarah to try my account out by sending me some monies. She run a contest last year, which I won but because I live in this third world country and did not have Pay Pal, I can’t ask her to send my prize yet. So I told her about my exciting story and asked again if she’s still going to send my prize. I read her reply and she said she already sent out the money. I checked my balance and it’s there already. harhar.
For those Filipinos who still don’t have their pay pal account verified yet, this entry is for you. This is my version of the step-by-step procedure, all right?
- Get Unionbank’s EON Card Cyber Account. Get this debit card either by signing up online through their official website or go to the nearest branch.
- After five working days, you have to call the branch where you applied in. It’s very important to call them because I did not. lol. You will end up waiting and waiting. I was dumb that I thought they’re going to call me. Yeah, call them and ask them if your EON card is ready to pick up.
- When you are ready to pick up your EON card, go to the branch, go to their New Accounts or ask the security guard where you could claim your EON card. Present your two valid IDs and Php350.00 for the card’s annual fee. Also, it’s very important again to deposit at least Php150.00 in your EON card, especially if you are going to apply for Pay Pal.
- Wait for three days for your EON card to be activated. You may call the branch or call their hotline to confirm.
- If your EON card is activated already, go to Unionbank website and enroll for a eon cyber account. Be ready with your card and account number and pin. Also, think of your user ID, this user ID will be your new username next time you log in to access your accounts online. Wait for three to five days to be activated. Again, call their hotline to confirm.
- When everything is activated, you may enroll in Pay Pal. They are going to charge you 1.95 USD and wait three to five working days to get your Expanded Use Number from Unionbank. In my case, I sent a message to EON Services (you may send messages through your account online) and asking for my Expanded Use Number. I just waited for a couple of days only, I checked my account online through Unionbank’s website and saw a response.
- Copy and paste the 4-digit Expanded Use Number in your Pay Pal account and you are done. Verified!
Important: Deposit at least Php150.00 in your EON card and your EON card should be activated. If you failed to do this, your EON card will be denied by Pay Pal.
Okay. Do you love me now? ![]()
The Bitter the Better

I received another Christmas card. Sent by Amber. I did not know that she was going to insert a Hanson picture. Wooohoo!
For the main topic, I don’t smoke and I don’t drink. I don’t do drugs or whatever. Also, I don’t take diet pills because they don’t work in the long run, and can be very harmful and deadly. Diet pills do work but they will make you super hyper and annoying like the beatch. I exercise because it’s cheaper and healthier. I love eating vegetables and my favorite veggie is Ampalaya. My Kikoy doesn’t believe me but I do love Ampalaya, just like the title says: the bitter the better.
My eyebrow dresser has liver cancer. Just found out. Sad.
