Text Scam

Congratulations! Your simcard # won 2nd prize winner from the Central Bank draw, Malate Branch, Manila. Last 09/18/07 worth of Php 650,000.00. For your information, call me now, I’m Atty. ERIC JHON LEDESMA DTI-NCR Permit #6623 Series of 2007. From bad number 09274826761.
Obviously, an Uncle Scam, right? I was twittering when I received this SMS. Gahhh. But I just deleted it, of course. Just thought I would share and warn you because… I am so nice.
Also, I am a nosy person so I Googled the keywords: Central, bank, and sim. Those forum members also got the same SMS format but different attorney names. Funny.
because… this also gives traffic. ![]()

What I don’t understand is why people would waste the time sending all of those messages. Everything’s automated now but still. I dunno how some people even fall for them.
Thanks for adding my feed!! That is MUCH appreciated. And don’t lie now–if the elevators DID have the security cams, you’d still make out with your boy, hehe ;oP

Old school, pero madami pa ding nadadaleng mga pobreng kababayan natin. Dapat gumising naman ang mga telecommunications company dito sa atin.
