What goes on behind closed doors should stay there in a relationship.
In general, true. I don’t discuss confidential information with my friends about our relationship or divulge private details about his life or his body to them.
That’s private and between us. I believe in closed doors. After all, we have built an intimate relationship, not a reality show. Heh.
I’m in a great mood. Saw Kikoy today and we saw The Invisible.

I think it should be true. It’s disrespectful if you just tell the whole world about those private moments, especially when your partner wants to keep them private.

LOVE that!!! I’m the same. I remember my friends hounding me after I had dated Mike for a while wondering why I hadn’t told them whether or not we had slept together!! I was shocked!!! I was NEVER going to share such things with them or ANYONE!

That is true. I don’t share my personal life with my bf to people. My friends do it, and it makes the mood uncomfortable. Then soon, everyone starts sharing their life. I like to keep my privacy to myself.

Personally, if I would be in a relationship, I would still be cautious with things I tell/share to my BF. I don’t know, maybe I have trust issues but even my friends doesn’t know the whole deal about me, I have things that I’ve never shared to anyone — only to my LJ if that counts, haha. Of course I would tell him the usual stuff, Sex life? Maybe.. maybe if we would ever get into that, for now I highly doubt it because I don’t have a partner right now.

I believe in Closed Doors as well. However, I also believe that it’s ok to talk about it sometimes, especially if you two have it worked out to where there are certain points to which you can talk about it but if it gets to a point where he/she is uncomfortable, stop talking about it.
That’s the way it’s working with me and my partner right now. If he doesnt want me talking about certain things in our love life, I won’t. If he’s fine with it, I might mention it to a girlfriend.
