Engagement ring: left or right hand?
Wikipedia says:
An engagement ring is a ring worn by a woman on her left-hand ring finger indicating her engagement to be married. The ring is usually presented as a betrothal gift by a man to his prospective bride while or directly after she accepts his marriage proposal. It represents a formal agreement to future marriage.

What if there are women who were born with only one arm…either left or right? And then they got married, is it very important which hand to wear the ring?

I never remember which it is. In general though “big shiny diamond” ring pretty much means “don’t waste a chat up line” no matter which hand or finger it is on
