Barn or Snowy?
This morning, my mother found an owl in our backyard. We don’t know where it came from. We don’t know if he has an owner or he migrated or what.. He looks like the owl in the movie Harry Potter. ¤giggles¤ It was my first time to see this kind of bird up-close. His behavior was very interesting, too. He turns his head like 270 degrees.
Unfortunately, though he looks lovely and all, we decided not to keep him. He looks sick but very calm. Also, he did not look like he came from the wild.. He must have an owner. We gave the bird to my sister’s friend whom we know can take the responsibility. We can’t manage to feed him. I hope he goes well and won’t die.

in our subdivision, different types of birds can be seen, but not an owl. maybe it really has an owner.

That’s a beautiful owl! Nothing exciting like that ever happens to me! I wish I had a Harry Potter owl drop by my porch! lol. Oh well. To bad you didn’t get to keep it, but at least it’s with someone that can take very good care of it.

I’m the only one who didn’t know that owl is a male. Hmmm…how did everyone know it’s a male?
Anyway, that owl looks better than the one that my parents took care of. It looks ill to me, it’s very weak. Dalhin muna sa vet yan…and you know it’s illegal to have any pets like this without any legal documents? :neutral:

You know, I never really considered the whole Owl-as-a-pet thing. I guess I just figured that, because it was in HP, it was just fictional. I would love to own an owl! *pets*

Hi, I suggest you turn the owl over to the authorities, parks and wildlife? It would be better coz they know how to take care of it, and be given treatment if ever the owl is sick:smile:

di pa ako nakakakita ng owl, well, except sa mga zoo..
mukhang ngang sad ung owl.. baka naligaw lang yan sa inyo and he wants to go back pero dinatnan na sya ng umaga kaya nanghina rin.. hmm… kasi diba nocturnal ang owls? la lang.. naisip ko lang..
